Monthly_Update Message
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe, from what I am reading it sounds like some states have opened up a little early as the number of new cases has never been higher in a single week in the United States. Last Friday and Saturday were the largest number of new cases since the beginning of the outbreak, each day having over 44000 new cases. Please be responsible and take care of yourself and those around you.
A couple of months ago, while we were experiencing hot days and cold nights which helped produce morning fog. The first image this month is one of those magically mornings, taken shortly after sunrise. This capture was actually a lucky circumstance, while shooting some fog over a pasture and decided to wait for the sun to come over the horizon to light up some tree's but did not get the effect I was hoping for. I decided to get in the car to look for additional scenes, less than a quarter mile down the road I see the low sun illuminating the fog, this is what I captured.
The second image is to help everyone enjoy fireworks virtually this weekend - guess I should have created a slide show to provide the complete experience. Locally our large fireworks displays are canceled and struggling to find professional displays near home but I totally understand the desire to not have large groups of people together during this time of COVID.
Here's a link to download the appropriate version of this month's image for your desktop, one for standard screens and one for wide-screens. Right click on the text for the format you need and select Save As, save to a location on your computer that you can remember and change the background as needed for your OS.
