Monthly_Update Message
Summer is getting close, kids will be out of school soon and hopefully everyone can start taking vacations without concerns of COVID creating havoc with their plans. Most of my traveling is by car and the last few months has seen a big change in peoples attitudes and just being 'tired of COVID'. Hopefully we can get past this soon and start living what was normal previously. I can tell you the Federal government has released or will be releasing funds to all the states for the interstate system - seems like every state I visit there is road construction going on and it just seems way to early for that to me.
Our first image this month is from a legendary location, Churchill Downs in Louisville KY; seems like everyone would love to attend the Kentucky Derby even if they are not horse people. This year the event is limited with spectators, so I am curious to see how that will impact peoples opinion. Obviously this image is not taken during the derby, nor any other horse racing event - just a day when I was near and thought I needed to take some images. Our second image is from someone thinking outside of the box, Kyle Wyman was able to bring Panera Bread into the road racing paddock and have them sponsor his team this season. Obviously he or someone with his team is a great salesperson to have this opportunity - this is an important skillset needed to have teams in all motorsports to be successful. Here's a link to download the appropriate version of this month's image for your desktop, one for standard screens and one for wide-screens along with a Mobile Phone Image. For desktop computers or tablets, Right click on the text for the format you need and select Save As, save to a location on your device and change the background as needed for your OS.
For Mobile devices, most mobile phones are straight forward to download images but Apple users might need a few tips.

Without 3D Touch enabled - tap and hold on the image, select Save Image
With 3D Touch enabled - tap and hold but with no pressure on the screen, select Save Image
