Monthly_Update Message
If I am being honest, the month of September was really just a blur, with a large amount of windshield time driving between events or large amount of time sitting in front of a computer monitor. While winter time should be slower, I am expecting a busy schedule which overall is not a bad thing. Not wanting to get to far ahead, hoping to get out and capture some wonderful color with the leaves over the next couple of weeks - hopefully everyone can spend some time outdoors enjoying the fresh air and colors Mother Nature provides.
The first image for this month, also our Mobile Phone background image, is from a few years ago at Starved Rock State Park near Utica IL. Ironically it was captured in Illinois Canyon and I felt it was appropriate for October since a few leaves have fallen in most area's except for the extreme northern United States, which are at peak or past peak colors. Next up is an image captured a couple of weeks ago with Sean Dylan Kelly(40) pushing beyond the limit while battling for the race lead during a MotoAmerica race at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama. As you can see, it was raining during the race and made the circuit tricky to ride. While Kelly did crash, he was able to quickly remount his bike and still finish second behind Gabriel Da Silva(93). Here's a link to download the appropriate version of this month's image for your desktop, one for standard screens and one for wide-screens along with a Mobile Phone Image. For desktop computers or tablets, Right click on the text for the format you need and select Save As, save to a location on your device and change the background as needed for your OS.
For Mobile devices, most mobile phones are straight forward to download images but Apple users might need a few tips.
Apple iOS Downloads - click the Mobile Phone link to open the image:
Without 3D Touch enabled - tap and hold on the image, select Save Image
With 3D Touch enabled - tap and hold but with no pressure on the screen, select Save Image
